Fawad talks about love

22nd September 2014

Pakistani Superstar Fawad Afzal Khan is the next big thing in India. He might be just one film old in Bollywood but he already has a sea of fan following in India thanks to his good looks, charm and highly successful Pakistani television shows and films.

He is not only looked upon as a Greek God but also as a star to whom romance comes naturally. He has played a charmer and lover onscreen in his previous endeavors and recently had some pearls of wisdom to share with his fans who are looking for answers in love.

"I'm no Dr Phil, but I would say that the secret to a successful relationship is to never perceive any person as perfect. Accept them with their imperfections," he said.

The 32-year-old Lahore born star who is happily married to his childhood sweetheart Sadaf, claims that accepting each others' flaws is the key ingredient to any successful relationship.

"I'm sure I have a lot of imperfections; my wife has imperfections. Strangely enough, those are the imperfections that you fall in love with. They’re called idiosyncrasies, and recognizing them is important. If there are certain things you don't like, talk about them, and figure them out. That, I think, is the strongest thing in any relationship — this level of understanding. And, of course, you have to be friends first before being companions, and then companions first before being married. So, this should be the order," he added.

In the meanwhile, Fawad is not just busy promoting films but also is stunned with the kind of love that is showered on him by his fans in India.

"I feel flattered. It's an amazing feeling, though I can't taste the fruit. But you might find out after a while, maybe I'll start reciprocating," he stated.
