Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor's next film 'Jagga Jasoos' with Anurag Basu was in news for the collaboration of the real life couple for reel screen. Then later it was in news for all the wrong reasons as the film couldn't get itself a perfect release date.

However, the team brainstormed together for a while and successfully booked November 27 as the release date.

"We have decided to release the film on November 27 as we felt that it is the best time for the movie. We were looking for a date that is good for the global release," said Amrita Pandey, the co-producer of the film.

The team initially had decided to release the film this year in May, but then changed the plan when Anurag Kashyap announced that he will release his next directorial venture 'Bombay Velvet' starring Ranbir Kapoor,  in May as well.

Later August and thereafter October was being eyed as a suitable time for the film’s release.
