Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya lands himself in a legal tussle. A woman who had been to Lokhandwala Durga Puja Pandal has filed an FIR against the singer for abusing and molesting her in public.

Victim was there to attend Kailash Kher's performance when Abhijeet tried to touch her in an inappropriate way. Further she added that after she warned him, he threatened her with the consequences. Later she was taken out by the security guards from the pandal.  

She lodged a complaint with Oshiwara police station. Inspector Subhash Khanvilkar said, "While the programme was going on, a woman stood up in between (the rows of the audience) that blocked the view of stage for the people sitting behind. People started shouting at her and when she did not listen, Abhijeet himself made her sit down."

"While trying to move away the victim from where she stood up, Abhijeet allegedly touched and caught her inappropriately."

An FIR is booked against him under Section 354A 506 & 34 of the IPC.
