(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Freida Pinto regularly sits down to watch Slumdog Millionaire.

The actress found fame appearing as Latika in the 2008 movie. Freida loved the script, but had no idea the film would be such a huge success.

The star still can't believe how much her life has changed since shooting the Oscar-winning picture, but doesn't take the credit for its achievements.

"Absolutely. I still do it to this day I can't believe it," she said, when asked if she has to pinch herself when thinking about her life. "In fact, the last time was as recent as this morning! Slumdog changed everything for me really. We thought only 5,000 people would see it and it would go straight to DVD but the direction was amazing, the performances were amazing and personally I've watched it over and over again."

Freida's latest big screen outing is in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which is a prequel to the hugely popular Planet of the Apes franchise. The movie also stars James Franco and Andy Serkis, and getting to work with such big names was a highlight for the star.

"It was a fantastic experience for me, especially working with Andy," she told Look magazine. "It's very dramatic and very poignant as well as having great action scenes. I'm very excited about it!" (C) Cover Media
