Venkatesh's forthcoming film Ganga The Bodyguard is fast nearing completion. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Bodyguard, which was successfully remade in Tamil and Hindi, with Vijay and Salman Khan playing the lead roles respectively.

The music for the film, which has Trisha as the female actor, is scheduled for release on October 1. Venkatesh plays the role of a personal security personnel to Trisha, who is the daughter of a rich landlord.

Since her life is under threat from the opponents of her father (Prakash Raj), Venkatesh is roped in to provide security cover to her, as she is out of town for her higher studies. The rest is a beautiful romantic story.

Ganga The Bodyguard has been produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the banner of Sri Sai Ganesh Productions and directed by Gopichand.
