September 8, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Small screen actress Gautami Kapoor who made her mark in a popular prime time soap 'Ghar Ek Mandir' besides she was also seen in a new avatar of another Tulsi in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. Now it seems that she has disappeared from television screen as since a very long time she has not been seen in any TV serial or any other show. When we asked the reason for the same Gautami retorted back, "I was tied up with lots responsibilities of my kids and other things so I could not give time for any show."

Now that she is all set to get back to television she says, "I'm meeting lots of people. I'm open to do anything which is good whether it is a daily soap or a reality show. Till now I haven't opted for any show because the working hours are very rigid and second thing is I haven't found anything interesting which I would love to do so I met lots of people but nothing interesting has come my way."

Since there is also a trend in television and even a second way of earning money for lots of celebrities to do guest appearances in daily soaps in the form of giving dance performances for any occasion we asked Gautami why has she not done any such thing? She answers tactfully, "Guest appearance in any show is Ok for me I don't mind doing it but I have always done very little work and good work. I don't want to do one performance in a show because I have nothing to do so let's do something like this just to earn some amount of money. No, I don't want to fall in situations like this I would rather wait for some good opportunities."

That was a good take and an intelligent answer for a celebrity like Gautami Kapoor who is now a wife of, not only television but also of Tellywood actor Ram Kapoor.
