Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh', which is a Telugu remake of Salman Khan's blockbuster 'Dabangg', will start rolling from 25th July. The first schedule, according to sources, will be shot in Hyderabad for few days.

The 'high voltage' commercial entertainer will be directed by Harish Shankar (director of Mirapakai). Shruthi Haasan has been roped in for the female lead role. Actor-turned producer Ganesh, who recently produced 'Teenmaar' with Pawan Kalyan, is producing the film.

The music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The rest of the cast includes Sonu Sood, Krishnamraju, Jayasudha and Ajay. "It is a great entertainer. I am happy to play the lead role,' says Pawan."
