(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Chris Colfer can see similarities between his Glee character and Sex and the City's Samantha Jones.

The 21-year-old actor shot to fame in musical TV show Glee alongside stars such as Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith.

Chris, who plays Kurt Hummel, and Lea, who portrays Rachel Berry, have been thinking about another hit TV programme, the now-defunct comedy Sex and the City, which followed the lives of a group of fashionable New Yorkers.

The show famously starred Sarah Jessica Parker as pensive writer Carrie Bradshaw, while Kim Cattrall was man-eater Samantha.

Although Lea thinks Kurt is similar to intelligent Carrie, Chris sees him as more of a sex symbol.

"No, I think you would be Carrie," Lea told Chris.

"Carrie?!? I'd rather be Samantha!" replied the actor.

Meanwhile, Lea thinks her alter ego Rachel would be similar to the way Kristin Davis' Sex and the City character Charlotte York would have been in high school. The actress can see many parallels between the prim and proper characters.

"Rachel is definitely Charlotte York from Sex and The City, like 30 years ago," the actress recently told Access Hollywood at the Glee 3-D Concert premiere in Los Angeles. "That's what I see her as." (C) Cover Media
