(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will feature in Glee after the third season.

The trio have found fame on the much-loved American musical show, which is about a high school singing club.

Ryan Murphy who co-created the programme recently announced Lea, Cory and Chris wouldn't be returning after season three. He explained it was vital to make the show believable, meaning some students had to graduate. However, executive producer Brad Falchuk has now told fans not to worry, as they may pop up in the future after all.

"They are not done with the show after this season," he said at the annual Comic-Con event in San Diego. "Because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don't just say, 'We're going to let you go.' They are not done with the show after this season."

It is not yet known how the three stars will appear in future episodes. It was rumoured they may be teaming up for their own spin-off programme, but that notion has now been rubbished.

It was thought Lea's character Rachel Berry, Finn Hudson played by Cory and Chris' Kurt Hummel would all move to New York, but that won't be happening.

"That was something we were planting as a possibility, but we didn't get much further than that," Brad said. "We're leaning against doing it. We certainly have explored it, but I think we're going to pass." (C) Cover Media
