(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Arquette has been spotted with a mystery brunette.

The actor is currently separated from his wife Courteney Cox Arquette and has now sparked romance rumours after he was seen linking arms with a woman as they happily walked together in California. David who was wearing sunglasses and a blue shirt - was talking on his cell phone and headed for the Comic-Con convention in San Diego.

"They looked very cosy," an eyewitness told E! Online. "I'm not saying that anything happened, but it's definitely not how I would want my husband to behave."

The 39-year-old star has struggled since announcing his split from Courteney last year. David was seen on several wild nights out and completed a spell in rehab for alcohol and depression issues. He recently insisted he is now leading a healthier life and feels better both physically and mentally.

He has previously spoken out about his wish to save his marriage and hopes of working out their differences for the sake of their daughter Coco. David also recently insisted he didn't feel ready to start dating again.

"My heart isn't open to meeting anybody else, and that's something I've brought up to [Courteney]," he said last month. "It's still up in the air but we really love each other and we're great parents together. We're both courteous and kind, and we're both figuring out a lot about our lives right now, and our personalities and what we need to feel more complete." (C) Cover Media
