Highly celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar has been known for his impeccable ways to promote his larger than life films, and now that he is gearing up for the release of his youth caper 'Student of the Year', his master mind is working overtime.

After he grandly released the film's first theatrical and introduced the lead stars in panache, he is all set to unleash the first single soundtrack from the film. 

The Song is a hip disco song which is a remixed version of Nazia Hassan's "Disco Deewane" which was a retro hit in the past. 

The song will be unleashed today and it will be premiered today across 16 music channels, FM radio and several online platforms. It will not only be released on radio, but also on websites and music channels. The song features Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.

"It's a great adaptation. Vishal and Shekhar came up with the idea of revisiting the song. The picturisation by Remo is super cool and the three debutants have really rocked and rolled to this disco track. I honestly hope the song climbs charts the way we would love it to!" said Karan about the song. 

Produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chillies, the film 'Student of the Year' is slated to release on October 19.
