Former yesteryear Superstar, Govinda's career is slowing coming back on track. 

After so many years of lows and absence on screen, the star is finally getting back to the groove. 

He recently exclaimed that the year 2014 has proved extremely lucky for him. And the reason he exclaims is the fact that he has been offered meaty roles in big banner films. 

Though he refused to give any details of the films that he is doing, he asserted that he is happy with the way the year has turned out to be. 

"The year 2014 has been one of the luckiest years for me so far and I'm soon starting work on some new projects as well," he said. 

He also revealed that his maiden production is stuck in post production as they are currently finalizing a perfect release date for the film. 

He claims that due to big releases lined up for release, they couldn't get the desired number of screens. And hence he decided to postpone the release rather than compromise on the release range. He states that he can delay the film but can't risk its reach.

While Govinda is evergreen in the memories of his fans, young age star Varun Dhawan has been called as the new age Govinda. 

Talking about the comparisons, Govinda adds that he feels honoured and would also love to work with him someday. 

"Varun has got rave reviews for copying my style in dance and comedy. I really like him and love the way he dances. It feels great when people say that he copies me. I would like to work with the talented boy, if someone comes up with a good script," he stated.
