(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Josh Groban says his co-star Emma Stone tasted like cherries during their kissing scenes.

The American singer makes his big screen debut alongside the stunning actress in upcoming romantic comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love, where he plays her bad-boy boyfriend.

The 30-year-old told GQ magazine that it was his first on screen kiss and he will forever treasure the fragrant moment.

"After one of our scenes, the director said, This is feeling a little goofy. Let's try this with a kiss at the end,'" Josh recalled. "And I thought, Holy s**t! I've never kissed on-camera before. What do I have to do? I didn't take that class in college.'"

But his 22-year-old castmate was "just a total pro" Josh said and handled the situation perfectly.

"She pulls out her lip gloss and says, It's cherry. That cool with you?'"

Although the scene did not make the final cut, Josh insists it is a movie moment that he will always remember. The multi-platinum selling artist has compared his first on-screen smooch to a pivotal scene in 1986 movie Stand By Me, where a deer appears and symbolises what is good in the world.

"That kiss shall forever be my deer in Stand By Me. It's my moment alone. No one but me will ever be able to treasure it," he gushed. (C) Cover Media
