Madonna's ex-husband welcomed a son with girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley in London yesterday.

The new mother underwent an emergency Caesarian at Portland hospital and eventually delivered a healthy baby boy.

Guy, 42, informed the Material Girl of the news and she reportedly sent a "huge bouquet" of flowers to the happy parents.

Madonna and Guy are parents to biological son, Rocco, 11, and David Banda, five, who they adopted from Malawi three years ago.

The former couple's acrimonious split was made official in December 2008 when their divorce became final.

Unlikely to be part of the bouquet Madonna sent her ex-husband and his partner is hydrangeas.

The 53-year-old had a diva moment while promoting her film W.E. at the Venice Film Festival yesterday when she was handed a bouquet of the purple flowers.

Madonna rolled her eyes and placed the floral gift on the ground.
