(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Swift have sparked reconciliation rumours after they were spotted dining together.

The 30-year-old actor and 21-year-old singer caused surprise when they started dating last year, although they were only together two months before splitting in December. Although no reason for their break-up was given, it was rumoured Jake ended things during a phone call.

However, the pair seem to still be on friendly terms after they were seen enjoying a meal together in Nashville on Wednesday. They were seen laughing and joking at the Bound'ry eatery, where they shared a table for two.

They did eat, a source explained to People. They were cordial to one another, but not affectionate.

There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together, another source explained. They sat next to the fireplace just chatting away.

The pair have both been busy since the split. Taylor has been working on new music and also preparing for a show she is set to play on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

Jake attended the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, where he was spotted joking and flirting with Mila Kunis. (C) Cover Media
