(Cover) - EN Star Style - Halle Berry looks like a drag queen when she wears dark lipstick.

The American actress is often cited as one of the worlds most beautiful women and always looks radiant on the red carpet.

Halle says she tries not to experiment with her look too much though, because when strong colour is applied too heavily to her pout she can look like a man dressed as a lady.

"I do, but just bright colours, in no way loud or dark tones, replied the star when the German edition of OK! magazine asked if she likes lipstick.

I tried it often but honestly, I look like a drag queen. Really very silly, she laughed.

The 44-year-olds simplistic preference for her lips is in keeping with the rest of her beauty routine, as Halle always favours a more natural look. The gorgeous actress says when shes not working or attending a glamorous party she prefers to let her skin breathe.

I wear really little make-up if I am in private. I am really not one of those women who thinks, 'I can't leave the house without any make-up on, she added. (C) Cover Media
