Mohit Suri's film 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' which is based on the book by Mahesh Bhatt, 'All That Could Have Been' might have a fall at the box office but the story will take a flight to a stage now.
The stage enthusiasts have been caught by its fancy and it will be staged first in Delhi on August 1 and later in Lahore. Imran Zahid has been roped in to play Emraan Hashmi's role on stage.
Zahid said, "Bhatt saheb feels I will do justice to the lead character because I have earlier played characters pulled from autobiographical real-life situations, such as in the stage adaptations of Arth and Daddy or The Last Salute."
Award winning actor-director, Happy Ranajit will direct the play while Pakistani sufi band Raeth will compose music for the play.
