Nation’s heart throb, Vijay, turned 38 today. 

A very talented actor and a blessed singer, Vijay makes almost every girl’s heart sing. Son of producer and director S. A. Chandrasekhar, Vijay has a very good understanding of various aspects of the industry from a very young age. 

After appearing as a child actor in a few films, Vijay made his debut in the industry with 1992 film 'Naalaya Theerpu' at the age of 18. After a few attempts, Vijay appeared in the romantic comedy 'Vishnu' and left a mark on the industry. 

With films like 'Chandrasekhar', 'Coimbatore Mappillai' and 'Vikraman' he became the new chocolate boy of K-town. His romantic movies practically started a love revolution in the country, for they managed to convey a subtle message every single time. 

However, lover boy image was not enough for him. In late 2003s Vijay appeared in action-romance flick 'Thirumalai' and stunned everyone with his performance and extremely hot new avatar. 'Udhaya', 'Pokkiri', 'Thirupacchi', proved that Vijay is a veteran actor and can rock any genre, be it romance, comedy or action!

In spite of having a super solid filmy background, Vijay is what he is, because of his talent, hard work and desire to be the best. He can connect to the audience like nobody else in the industry.
