Sudeep, popularly known as Kiccha Sudeep, celebrates his birthday today as he turns 39. Primarily working in the Kannada film industry, he has also worked in Tollywood and Bollywood films.

A mechanical engineering student and a university cricket player, Sudeep first started his career in TV serials before acting in feature films. His first movie was 'Thayavva' in Kannada, after which he starred in many Mollywood movies.

His first debut movie in Hindi was 'Phoonk', where he was very much recognised for his performance.

He has received accolades for his presence in 'Eega', directed by S.S. Rajamouli for playing the role of a bad guy.

Playing roles in different regions and from different genres, Sudeep has definitely become very famous.
