A passionate actor and a good samaritan, famous Indian actor, Vivek Oberoi celebrates his 35th birthday.
Born in a family who belongs to the film industry, Vivek is the son of veteran actor Suresh Oberoi. He completed his graduation in Ajmer and later went to London and New York to pursue his masters in film acting.
Starting off his career in 'Company', that was directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Vivek hit it off right from the start, earning the Best Debut as well as the Best Supporting actor.
After which he has starred in many action movies like 'Road', 'Dum', 'Saathiya', which again was a huge box office hit that earned him a Filmfare nomination in the Best Actor category.
Currently, the actor has signed a few movies like, 'Kismet Love Paisa Dilli' and 'Bloody Paki'.
As stated earlier, Vivek has always been a good samaritan, helping everyone in need. He was awarded the Red and White Bravery Award in 2006 for re-building a village that was affected due to the tsunami. The Oberoi family have also founded The Yashodhara Oberoi Fondation (Y.O.F). Vivek is also involved in many philanthropic activities.
In the year 2010, Vivek got married to Priyanka Alva, daughter of Karnataka minister, Jeevaraj Alva.
Playing the role of a true hero, Vivek Oberoi has definitely carved a mark and contributed immensely to the Indian cinema.
