Zoe Saldana best known for her 'Avatar' character Neytiri turns 34 today.

The American actress born in Passaic, New Jersey is a lovely ballet, jazz and modern Latin dancer.

Zoe was a still member of 'Faces' where she gained exposure in an episode on the television show 'Law & Order. Her first debut movies were 'Center Stage' and later 'Crossroads'.

Later, she went onto doing films like 'Pirates of the Carribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' where she played the role of Anamaria, 'Star Trek' portraying the role of Uhura and then later in 'Avatar' where she played the role of Neytiri the Na'vi princess which gave her much publicity and recognition.

This led her to get more opportunities to work in big commercial films. She is also the only actress to have three movies in the box office top 20 for three consecutive weeks.

Her next movies in the pipeline are 'The Words' and an untitled 'Star Trek' sequel that are in post-productions
