Haripriya of 'Muran' and 'Vallakottai' fame has denied reports that officials from the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) raided her residence, as she had close links with former Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa's son Vijayendra.
Calling the reports 'wild imagination of media', the actress said she was shocked to read them. She also said that she is not romantically involved with Vijayendra. 'I had never met him,' Haripriya said.
'There has been no raid on my house and I don’t understand why I have been dragged into this mess? I flew in to Bangalore this morning to promote my film, Killadi Kitty that is releasing on Friday,' she said.
Haripriya added: 'I am surprised how such baseless news was scrolled on news channels. There was no CBI raid at my house. I am surprised about the pattern of false news being telecast on many platforms just at the time when my film is ready to release'
