Sarath Kumar has refuted media reports, which claimed that he is making a guest appearance in Vijay's upcoming film 'Thuppakki', being directed by A. R. Murugadoss. 'I am not aware of any such development,' the actor-politician said.
He added, 'This is news to me. None of Murugadoss's assistants or anyone associated with the movie had contacted me so far. With this being the case, I wonder how such baseless reports crop up'.
Sararth, who is the founder president of a political party called Akila India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, is currently a legislator in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. Also, he is the president of South Indian Film Artistes Association, the apex body of actors.
At present, the actor-politician is part of a slew of movies, including Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan' and 'Vidiyal'. He is aso doing films in Kannada and Malayalam. 'Language is not a barrier to me,' he says.
