Sudden rains in Chennai have forced Harris Jayaraj to cancel his maiden live-in concert, 'On The Edge'. On Thursday, the celebrated music composer made an announcement that he had decided to postpone it to a later date.

The eagerly awaited concert, which was a first of its kind from Harris, was originally scheduled for October 2. It has been postponed to October 8, due to inclement weather conditions. 

The music director released a press note with the details of the changes. All the tickets that have been purchased till date for this concert will be valid for October 8.

The note reads: ‘The event is rescheduled to ensure we provide to the spectators a superlative concert without being subject to any weather disturbance. All tickets purchased for this concert till date is valid for October 8, 2011’.

The October 16, 2011 concert at Hindustan College in Coimbatore remains unchanged, however, Harris said.
