September 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood director Harry Baweja, who has directed movies like 'Dilwale', 'Imtihaan', 'Diljale', 'Deewan'e and others, is now making his debut into television by producing serials.

He has also written the movie like Love Story 2050, which launched his son Harman Baweja. The other films written by him include 'Teesri Aankh: The Hidden Camera' and 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon'.

Harry has also produced Bollywood movies 'Speed' and 'Karam'. Now, he has bent his production mind towards television serials. Harry confirmed the news saying that he is producing television serials but wants the channel to announce it in their way.

Harry Baweja's wife Pammi Baweja is also a film producer, who has produced movies like 'Love Story 2050', 'Teesri Aankh: The Hidden Camera', 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon', 'Karam', 'Girlfriend' and 'Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?'

Bollywood film 'Speed', which was produced by Harry Baweja, was a semi-hit. The 54 year old filmmaker has not made a big hit film in last few years. So considering this fact, his TV venture may be a trial to improve his finances because television is usually considered to be a less risky medium.

Hope, the channel comes out with a formal announcement soon and Harry gets a great television debut!
