Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who was last seen in 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3' is producing his first Marathi venture film exploring the core of regional cinema. The 59-year old actor will be bankrolling this yet to be titled film under his own venture 'Sanjay Dutt's Productions'.
Dutt shared the pic of the film's clapper-board and the still featuring Deepak Dobriyal; he captioned it, as "Ecstatic to announce Sanjay Dutt Productions` first venture into Marathi films alongside Blue Mustang, yet untitled."
The film is helmed by Rajat Gupta and stars Deepak Dobriyal, Nandita Dhuri and Abhijeet Khandkekar in major role. Although the film is already on floors the area of concern is its title which is yet not decided.
On the work front, Sanjay is shooting for the Hindi remake of 2010 Telugu cult classic 'Prasthanam'. While the original film featured Sharwanand, Saikumar, and Sudeep Kishan in pivotal roles, Bollywood remake will star Ali Fazal, Manisha Koirala and Manyata Dutta. The Hindi remake is being helmed by Deva Katta, who also helmed the original.
Notably, the shooting began on 1st June, which was also Sanjay's mother and late actress Nargis' birth anniversary. Reports claim that Swara Bhaskar will probably also star in the film as Dutt's stepdaughter.
