(Cover) - EN Star Style - Hayley Atwell was relieved she didn't have to complete her Captain America: The First Avenger action scenes in stilettos.

The 29-year-old British actress plays Peggy Carter in the upcoming action adventure, which features movie hunk Chris Evans in the title role.

Hayley got the chance to shoot some exciting action sequences, and was relieved that she didn't have to film the scenes in ridiculously high heels. Her character Peggy was wearing glamorous-yet-demure 40s-style garb.

"I had a court shoe, three inches which is completely workable to make it look real that she could do that stunt and still be appropriate to the time," explained the star during an interview with Collider.

Hayley donned some rather tight-fitting frocks for her role in the movie. She recalls one day arriving on set and causing shockwaves with her slinky attire.

"It was silent and I was so embarrassed," she blushed.

"You can't slouch in a dress like that or you look like mutton dressed as lamb...You could have heard a pin drop." (C) Cover Media
