(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Dame Helen Mirren enjoys watching pole dancing.

The 66-year-old actress is widely considered as a sex symbol, attracting admirers with her stunning looks and figure.

Helen claims that the reason for her popularity could be her own interest in sexiness.

"I like sexy stuff," she confessed to British newspaper The Times. "I like looking at sexy photos. I loved Madonna's sex book, and I love Gaga. To be honest, I rather like watching pole dancing. Not that I'm gay or anything. I just like the ballet of it."

The British actress has recently taken a step away from dialogue drive roles and turned to action movies. Last year, Helen starred in action-comedy RED (Retired Extremely Dangerous), alongside Hollywood hard man Bruce Willis. The movie followed a group of retired assassins, who were forced back to work by the CIA.

"I'm dying to be a full-time action movie heroine," she revealed. "Because the great thing about action is that you don't have to act. All you have to do is get from a' to b' as proficiently as possible."

This year she returns to action with her new movie, The Debt, directed by John Madden.

This time she plays a retired Mossad agent trying to make sense of past events. The part required some energetic action scenes that Helen admits were "horribly fun".

"Us girls don't get to do that sort of thing too often" she gushed. "But you suddenly get this dangerous and visceral pleasure that's rather disturbing." (C) Cover Media
