Though the film is being tagged as a typical Madhur Bhandarkar film where each time a different industry's ugly side is exposed through a protagonist, what has impressed the critics the most is Kareena's impeccable performance. 

She has, without any doubt, carried the film on her shoulders completely and leaves you in awe of her like never before.
