Yesterday, 21st September was indeed a big day for Priyamani, as her multilingual film titled 'Charulatha' hit the screens. The film which is a suspense-thriller has portrayed Priyamani in a very challenging role which is that of a conjoined twins.
Directed by debutante Pon Kumaran, it has released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. When asked about her performance in the movie Priya said that it was a challenging task and she has given it her best.
She further adds, "When the story was narrated to me, I was a little apprehensive as to wheather I could pull it off. But director Pon Kumar was sure about my skills."
'Charulatha' is inspired by the Thai film titled 'Alone' and the film is said to be a thriller with a difference. Hoping that the audience encourage and welcome such a unique story is all the award winning actress is praying for.
