High Court of Gujarat heard the Public Interest Litigation(PIL) against Bollywood actor Salman Khan for the 'Rape Women' comment he made just a few days ago, while sharing his experience for shooting some action sequences in 'Sultan.' HC has now reserved the verdict till Wednesday.
A bench of Chief Justice R S Reddy and Justice V M Pancholi questioned the petitioner's counsel why the ministry of information & broadcasting that the film 'Sultan' does not contain any such dialogue which harms the women's dignity. They were later told that Salman made that comment while sharing his experience while shooting.
Petitioner Aaditya Raval also said that film stars make such comments as publicity stunts and that they should be restrained from doing such comments considering their high end fan following. He also highlighted that despite serving with a legal notice and summoned twice by Women's Panel in Maharashtra, the actor is unapologetic.
