Filmmaker Raj Kumar Hirani became a household name after the success of two back to back ‘Munnabhai’ films and a blockbuster superhit ‘3 Idiots’ that rewrote the box office history!

However, despite the huge demand of coming up with the third installment in the ‘Munnabhai’ series, filmmaker Hirani continued to delay it's making as he was not satisfied with the script.

The film which was supposed to go on floors this year was not commenced due to the incomplete script but Hirani is ready to go back to the franchise that gave him the identity that he enjoys today.

Hirani recently confessed that after reworking on the script he is finally satisfied with what he has managed to get on paper with the team and will start the work on the film soon.

"Earlier, I was not happy with the second half of the script. I was suffering from a 'writer’s block' you can say! But once the script of 'P.K.' was complete, I was inspired enough to get back to Munna Bhai," said Hirani. 

When quizzed over the plot of the film he just had the following to say, "As usual, it will be in a real life setting with the most hilarious situations," added Hirani.

The film might go on floors early next year, as Hirani will be busy with his next directorial venture ‘P.K.’ starring Aamir Khan in the lead.
