When Kareena Kapoor said that she would never get into production and direction, she was dead serious about it (read news).

Other stars entered Bollywood as actors, but also got into production and direction while in the film fraternity. But Kareena stands firm on her decision.

At the FICCI Frames 2013 that was held recently, Kareena said, "I have never been interested in production, direction or writing. I have always been interested in acting since childhood, and I will continue doing it till I grow old. I will keep on visiting the sets and hope I will even die on the sets."

Belonging to a family of legends, her great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor and grandfather Raj Kapoor were huge producers. Kareena's parents too were famous actors and her sister Karisma Kapoor ruled Bollywood in the 90s. Now, her cousin Ranbir Kapoor is touted to be the next superstar. Kareena herself is a great star too.

Coming a long way from her earlier films, she has done movies of different genres making her a vesatile actor. Married to another great star Saif Ali Khan, Kareena has earned the best in all these years.

Currently, she is busy shooting for Prakash Jha's 'Satyagraha' and Karan Johar's 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein'.
