It was Anupam Kher recently tweeted the poster of 'Hotel Mumbai' based on the tragic terror attack in Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace luxury Hotel on 26/11 2008 and soon its teaser was released by the makers.
Directed by Anthony Maras and written by John Collee and Maras, it was premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2018, and earned raving reviews from the critic. 'Hotel Mumbai' is scheduled to release worldwide on March 29, 2019.
The teaser features Dev Patel as a housekeeper from Hotel Taj, whereas Anupam Kher is playing a professional chef who makes them inherit a beautiful Indian saying "Visitors are like Gods". It is the entry of a foreign couple played by Armie Hammer and Nazanin Boniadi who make their way in Taj with their newborn baby.
Next is the horrendous event to catch up as the terrorist make way through sea-route entering the heart of Mumbai specifically Hotel Taj. The teaser had some spine-chilling, nail-biting moments. Anupam Kher shared the poster of the film on his official Instagram handle and captioned it, "Presenting the teaser poster of one of the most important films of our times #HotelMumbai."
Kher's character is named Hemant Oberoi, inspired by a real-life chef of the same name who along with his team, helped rescue several guests during the attacks.
