A few weeks ago, there was a buzz that Aamir Khan will be playing the lead in Excel Entertainment's time-travel drama. However, reports now suggest that Aamir has opted out of the film.

Apparently, Aamir and the studio failed to agree on the remuneration and commercial clauses. So now, we hear that the production house has signed Hrithik Roshan to step into the role. 

The sci-fi drama will be directed by debutante Nitya Mehra and will star Deepika Padukone as the leading lady.

The film is expected to go on floors in February 2015.
