Hrithik Roshan's 'Mohenjo Daro' passes the Censor test

1st August 2016

Hrithik Roshan-Pooja Hegde starrer epic film 'Mohenjo Daro' was sent for the ceritification process. While in the recent past many filmmakers had fought their battles to let the movies with minimal cuts, Hrithik's next was a lucky one.

Mohenjo Daro has been passed with zero cuts and to top it all three passionate kissing scenes of the lead pair are also kept as it is. Well, the main news is despite of all these kissing scenes, the Censor Board has passed the film without a single cut. Shocked!!

Recently, Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal's kiss in 'Do Lafzon Ki Kahani' was reduced by nine seconds. According to a board member, "The three kisses in Mohenjo Daro have been left untampered. The film has been passed without a single verbal or visual cut, with a UA certificate."

As 'Mohenjo Daro' passes the censor test, Hrithik says, "I wasn't expecting any cuts, to be honest. But I am glad nevertheless. As for the kisses being left intact, I guess they came across as they were meant to, as manifestations of pure love. Vulgarity is always in the intention and expression. And we never went that way."

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker 'Mohenjo Daro' is an adventure- romance film based on the Indus Valley civilisation. It will release on August 12, 2016.
