(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hugh Jackman says his life turned out better than his "wildest imaginings".
The star has enjoyed success on both the stage and screen. He has also been happily married to Deborra-Lee Furness since 1996 and the couple raise two children.
Hugh features in new book Dear Me: Letters to My Sixteen-Year-Old Self, where he offers some words of advice to himself as a teenager.
"Things are going to be different from how you imagine them," he writes. "I know you don't have a clear idea of what you are going to do with your life, and I know that drives you a little crazy.
"Truth be told much of what is going to happen will surprise the pants off you. It will be way better than your wildest imaginings."
Hugh, 43, revealed he used to put himself under a lot of pressure.
The star now wishes he had been more accepting of his capabilities.
"Your nature is to be hard on yourself to push yourself be careful of this. It can veer you off track faster than anything," he warned. "There is so much more to say, that would make you feel great to hear but I don't want to spoil the surprise." (C) Cover Media
