No matter how many times he denies it, rumours linking director Vijay with Amala Paul continue to pop up in the media. The filmmaker, who is behind some meaningful projects like "Madrasapattinam" and "Deiva Thirumagal", seeks to deny it once again.

'I am really bored of refuting any relationship with Amala Paul. She is my colleague in "Deiva Thirumagal" and there is nothing more than that between us. She is a nice girl and talented actress, that's it," he says.

Stating that he maintains a good friendship with even his "Madrasapattinam" heroine Amy Jackson, with whom he is working again in his forthcoming film "Thaandavam", Vijay says, 'I always maintain a close rapport with actors and actresses I have worked with.'

'So there is no truth in reports that link me with Amala Paul. A lot of serious things are associated when a girl is being related with a man. So those writing rumours should think about it before do so,' he adds.
