There has been much hullabaloo over Hirthik Roshan’s latest film "Agneepath" that has been making the buzz due to its engaging promos and star cast.
The film is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s classic film with the same name that was released in the early 90's. And it was this glorious history of the film that had hindered him from signing the remake. Hrithik claimed that when the film was first offered to him he had refused to sign it.
However it was producer Karan Johar who compelled him to sign the film. “I didn't want to do a remake. I wanted to do films that have not been done before. But Karan Johar was insistent. I was almost forced into the film, made to hear the script and once I read it, I was blown away,” said Hrithik. He urged people to not compare him with Amitabh as he wouldn’t ever dare to step in his territory, “It's very different from the original character. My character as Vijay Deenanath Chauhan is very simple, common man. He's just Vijay. If you start comparing me with Mr Bachchan, I will fail at the word 'go',” added Hrithik.
