Dhanya Balakrishna, an upcoming Tamil actress finds herself in negative light, for hurting Tamil sentiments. The actress hails from Banglore and shared some of her feelings on twitter, which created a wave of anger in the cyber world.

Referring to the decade old Cauvery water sharing dispute she tweeted, “Dear Chennai, you beg for water we give! You beg for electricity, we give! ur people come and occupy our beautiful city and kocha paduthify it, we allow and nw u wr at our mercy to go to playoffs, n we let be!! Like this you begging we giving! Dai ungalukku vekkame illaya da??"

The actress received serious flak as a response to her statement. Hate Dhanya pages were seen all over Facebook. R.Sarathkumar, president of South Indian Film Artistes Association said that he will look into the matter. 

Dhanya appeared in the big budeget movie'7 aam-Arivu' . Hoping to put an end to the controversy Dhanya stated "I am withdrawing from the films that I have accepted and I will not come back." However looking at the heat of the situation it seems like Dhanya will be facing the music for a long time.
