Bollywood's fashion queen Sonam Kapoor has been known for her outspoken nature, making statements that have made headlines at the drop of a hat. She has been blunt and very open with her media interactions in the past, as she never refrained from expressing her opinions honestly. But her frankness brought no good, instead, it attracted a lot of controversies and this has made her mellow down her forthright nature.

The lady recently confessed that she has learnt from her past experiences and has turned diplomatic like the others in the industry.

"I've learnt to be a little more diplomatic. I've learnt that sometimes my humor gets lost in translation. People don't understand that I'm just being funny, not trying to hurt anybody," said Sonam, who has now learnt to keep her opinions to herself as she feels people tend to take it personally.

"People take things too personally - I don't. If someone says something about me, I let it go. But unfortunately everyone isn't like that. So I'm trying to be more diplomatic," added a wiser Sonam who has evidentially learnt from her past experiences.
