Imran Khan, the chocolate boy turns 30

13th January 2013

Bollywood's chocolate boy Imran Khan celebrates his birthday today. The young and energetic actor who steadily made a mark with his one after the other superlative performances has turned 30. Imran, unlike many other big actors, got married at the very beginning of his career, breaking the B-Town notion of being a bachelor biggie with a huge fan following.

Also known as Aamir Khan’s nephew, the 30-year old actor does not have a fan following as huge as his uncle, but he surely has melted the hearts of many girls around the world with his million dollar smile and charming looks. As a child artist, the actor started off his career in 1988 as young Aamir Khan in movies like 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'.

Starting his career with ‘Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na’, which was a box office hit to his recently released ‘Matru Ki Bijlee ka Mandola’, which failed to perform well, the actor has come across a few ups and downs in his acting career. From being a chocolate boy to a rugged faced Matru, Khan has been experimenting and improving his performance in every film.

His original name is Imran Pal. Born in the U.S., he has completed his studies from Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai. Son to Anil Pal and Nuzhat Hussain, Imran changed his surname to Khan after the divorce of his parents.

Happily married to his 11-years long girlfriend Avantika Malik, daughter of a businessman and CEO of CNBC the business news channel, the actor is never into controversies with either co-actors or otherwise and keeps his personal and professional life at a distance.

We wish B-Town's sweet li’l boy a very Happy Birthday and loads of success in all his upcoming projects.
