Bollywood’s highly acclaimed actress Soha Ali Khan comes from a filmy parivaar, where her mother and brother are both superstars in Bollywood.

Though her mother Sharmila Tagore and her brother Saif Ali Khan have always been a part of main stream Bollywood films, Soha has chosen a different path and has often been seen in parallel cinema. Continuing her streak, she will next be seen in 'Chaarfutiya Chhokre' for which she has been shooting endlessly.

Soha recently left her crew stunned when she refused to take the help of a body double and performed a physically draining scene on her own.

In that particular scene, the villain played by actor Zakir Hussain hits and abuses Soha’s character on screen. He beats her and humiliates her, which shows domestic violence. Zakhir also tears her shirt apart. 

The brutal sequence had a harsh effect on her body and she got several real bruises. But she insisted on continuing the shoot, so that the scene looked real, also keeping in mind the continuity of the scene. She got bruises on her arms, as well as her back.

When the scene was given an 'Okay' she was immediately provided with medical aid.
