Finally, the matter of truth. It has been confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have been blessed with a baby boy, who was born to the surrogate mother on May 27, 2013.

Based on reports, the boy was born at the Masrani Hospital for Women at Andheri in Mumbai. He weighed 1.5 kgs and based on insiders, the surrogate mother reportedly Gauri's sister-in-law Namita Chibber, and the baby are doing fine.

BMC's Additional Municipal Commissioner Manisha Mhaiskar stated that the BMC has received a birth certificate, which carries the names of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan as the parents of the surrogate child.

Mhaiskar further shared that they are in the process of establishing whether the newborn is the biological child of the star couple or no, and once that has been established, they would request details of the ultrasound and other medical reports from SRK to confirm whether the couple did learn about the child's gender prior to his birth.

It was further reported that the baby boy was taken to Nanavati Hospital and then, shifted to Breach Candy Hospital and now, is with his family at SRK's Mannat home. Both have not shared the news with the media as yet, but based on sources close to the couple, they plan to have a press conference soon to officially announce the birth of their surrogate baby boy.
