It's final - Rohit Khurana back to Star Plus' 'Kolangal'

18th September 2010

September 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The buzz was around few days ago that Rohit Khurana, everyone's favorite, Vansh from Colors 'Uttaran', has opted out of Star Plus' new offerings which is apparently a remake of the Tamil hit Kolangal. Though the title of the show is not yet finalized, the leads of the show have been signed officially.

It was recently heard that Rohit wont be a part of the show and the production is in search of some other face for the lead. But in a recent conversation with Rohit, he finally confirmed to TellyCafe.com that he will be doing Star Plus's show, which is produced by UTV, "After my exit from Sudhir Sharma's 'Miley Jab Hum Tum', I will be concentrating on UTV's new show on Star Plus."

Though Khurana didn't reveal anything else about the show and his character, he confirmed his presence in the show by saying, "It's a very different character and the story line is unique, but I can't reveal it right now."

A source close to the show told TellyCafe.com, "The show revolves around three sisters where the central character is played by the eldest one, who fights against all the odds for her family. The show is neither a Saas-Bahu saga, nor is it a love story. But it's a very different concept which will be liked by the audience."

Now Uttaran's audience can have something to look forward to with Vansh being back in action with Star Plus after Star One.
