Character of Abha Mathur played by Chopra, is the first woman SP of Bankepur, who fights to restore justice and peace in Bankepur. On the other hand Bankepur's local politicians, law breakers who are almost ruling the village from past four years and are very clear that they are there to stay.

The film is not different from the original part, good cop pitted against the local goons and loopholes in the system represented by cops themselves supporting the goons, but the female protagonist changes the complete look and feel of the movie. Along with solid punches in the trailer, the dialogues too are hard-hitting.

Surprise package is the film's director himself playing a powerful role in the film parallel to Priyanka.
