(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jake Gyllenhaal reportedly spent 100,000 on a private jet so Taylor Swift could be at his side.

Handsome actor Jake, 29, and 20-year-old country singer Taylor appear to be Hollywoods hottest new couple and its believed the hunk was missing his pretty girlfriend when he had to spend time in the UK promoting his movie Love and Other Drugs.

Taylor was also due in the UK as she was performing at an awards ceremony in London, but Jake paid for her to jet in early.

"Jake wanted some quality time with Taylor, a source told British newspaper The Sun. If he hadn't done this, they would have missed each other as he had to fly back to the States. He hired a jet which would easily have set him back 100,000."

It is reported Taylor flew to London on Friday, with the stars spending two nights in Jakes suite at the citys exclusive hotel The Dorchester.

Speculation the pair are dating began surfacing last month when they were spotted enjoying a weekend together in New York. So far Jake and Taylor have declined to comment on the romance rumours. (C) Cover Media
