(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jane Lynch says she always knew she would work in comedy as shes pretty entertaining.

The 50-year-old actress is best known for her portrayal of acid-tongued cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in hit American television show Glee, which follows a group of high school singers.

Jane has also starred in a string of comedy movies including 2005 smash The 40 Year Old Virgin, where she played Steve Carells character Andy Stitzers sex-mad boss Paula. The talented star has revealed she always believed her career would blossom in the comic genre, as she has a great sense of humour.

Yeah, Im pretty entertaining. My parents were always laughing at what I said, she explained.

Jane has been married to clinical psychologist Dr. Lara Embry since May last year, and the pair raise nine-year-old Haden, Laras daughter from a previous relationship, together. Jane enjoys parenting, and admits her sense of humour has rubbed off on Haden.

My daughters that way too. She just says the most amazing, smart, funny, almost-adult things, she added. (C) Cover Media
