(Cover) - EN Movies - Jason Bateman is said to be in early negotiations to star alongside Vince Vaughn in comedy The Insane Laws.

It's a busy year for the American star, who is releasing two movies this year but according to Deadline the actor has read through the script and production could start as soon as fall.

The Insane Laws tells the story of two best friends, whose relationship is tested when their children start dating.

The situation becomes even more difficult when Vince Vaughn's character's daughter falls pregnant.

The movie also marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Jeremy Garelick, who co-wrote The Break Up with Vince Vaughn and has also been credited with contributing extensively to hit comedy The Hangover. (C) Cover Media
