(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jennifer Aniston thinks she's a female icon because she wears "hand-me-downs".
The Hollywood actress has won a legion of male and female fans since finding international fame on hit US television series Friends.
Jennifer, who is widely regarded as one of the industry's most attractive leading ladies, is always baffled about why women hold her in such high regard.
"I never know how to answer that question," she responded when asked why she thinks women identify with her. "They like my shoes and they like my hand-me-downs? No, I don't know. I love girls."
The stunning actress then added, "Oh great. Yep, I said it. I love the girls," when she realised that her comment could be twisted into something sensational.
Jennifer is currently starring as sex-crazed dentist Julia Harris in comedy Horrible Bosses alongside Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis. The men's characters all dislike their managers so plot to kill them.
The 42-year-old actress insists that while some of her fans may be a little shocked by her change in direction since portraying Rachel Green in sitcom Friends, she is confident she hasn't lost any support.
"Are people upset that I abandoned Rachel?" she mused in an interview with TNT magazine. "No, nobody is upset about this. I certainly didn't worry about the part at all. That was the fun of it how far it went. I really went for it. They entire movie went for it. It's not Sort-of-Horrible Bosses' they are really horrible." (C) Cover Media
